School Resource Officer

Milton Town School District has a School Resource Officer (SRO) available to both of our campuses and all three schools. The SRO is an employee of the Milton Police Department.
The SRO serves the school community in assisting students and staff and administration in dealing with problems particular to the school environment, both physical and environmental. 
Some areas of support include:
  • Addressing crime prevention issues
  • Monitoring the physical environment
  • Responding to complaints from within the school district
  • Traffic control
The SRO is also available to address specific issues (thefts, harassment, bullying, fights, problems of truancy and residency, etc.) should they arise and the school administration makes the request.
