Community Dinner & Forum

Join Remotely (Zoom)
Dear Members of the Milton School District Community,

You are invited to a special evening of engagement and collaboration. On Wednesday, September 20th, starting at 5 pm, the Milton Town School District will host two events at Milton High School on Rebecca Lander Avenue.

Community Dinner - 5 pm
Share a meal, connect, and build community. All are welcome, whether or not you attend the forum.

Community Forum - 6:30 pm
The evening will include a presentation from TruexCullins with an updated cost estimate, site & floor plan details, and project bond information. This is an opportunity for all stakeholders to learn more, ask questions, and share perspectives.

Your perspective holds excellent value, and your participation is vital as we journey toward a brighter future in Milton's education.
The Herrick Avenue Project committee hosted a community forum on Monday, November 7 at the Milton Middle School Library. If you were unable to attend please find the video recording from the meeting, the presentation, and the community survey below.

Please take a moment to review the slides and watch our Herrick Video before completing the survey below. The slides and video outline the educational and facility needs. The slides provide five potential project options for MTSD Board's consideration in January.

Herrick Video
This video highlights some of the problems and concerns with regard to the Herrick Avenue facilities which have led to the formation of this committee and concurrent project.

Meeting Recording
For those who couldn't attend, our Zoom portion of the meeting was recorded. We did have some issues with the video audio, please see the full video above.

Community Survey
The community survey is helping us develop a strategy that aligns with the community's intent and direction. Your voices are important in every stage of the process, especially during early direction planning. Here are the results of that survey.

What's next?

Review the project options, below, and take a survey to gather feedback about this project's priorities and direction.

If you're a member of the Milton community or school community, please take a moment to provide us with your feedback.
