What is the McKinney-Vento Law & How do I know if I qualify
If you or your family are living in one of the situations below, you may be considered homeless for educational purposes under federal guidelines:
- residing doubled-up with a friend or family member
- couch surfing
- staying in a shelter
- living in a hotel, motel, camper, vehicle, campground, or other temporary housing situation
