What is the McKinney-Vento Law & How do I know if I qualify


If you or your family are living in one of the situations below, you may be considered homeless for educational purposes under federal guidelines:

  • residing doubled-up with a friend or family member
  • couch surfing
  • staying in a shelter
  • living in a hotel, motel, camper, vehicle, campground, or other temporary housing situation
