Mike has a BS degree in physical education from Plymouth State College and an M.Ed. degree from Springfield College in Athletic Administration and Physical Education. Mike has been here, at the home of the Yellow Jackets, since 1993. He began teaching in 1982 and has a varied background. Before coming here he taught 2 years at the College of St. Joseph's, did a one-year fellowship at Springfield College, and spent 1 year at the American Community School at Cobham, England. He has also taught in other public high schools and at Pine Ridge School, in Williston, Vermont. Mike resides with his wife, Linda, in Essex Junction, Vermont. Linda is a school a school administrator. His philosophy of Physical Education is that "kid's need to have fun and enjoy themselves in order to be sold on fitness for a lifetime activity". |
