As a child of educators, I have “lived” education in all of its forms: student, teacher, mentor, leading leader, consultant, and currently, Co-Instructional Leader at Milton Middle/High School. Having grown up in Vermont, I wanted to experience cultural diversity so I traveled to UMASS-Amherst to later receive a BA, and then an MAT from Boston College prior to teaching for the first time. I taught High School English in both Boston, MA and Newburyport, MA before returning to Vermont to work on my Ed. D at UVM where I worked in the Secondary Education Program. I am now experiencing my sixth year as a Co-Instructional Leader where I continue to love my life’s work as an educator. |
