After graduating Marist College in 1995, I worked in the non-profit and for-profit world. I quickly learned that none of these experiences compared to working with young people. I began my professional teaching career working as an environmental educator at Keewaydin Environment Education Center in Salisbury, Vermont. I then went on to get my Master in Education at the University of Vermont concentrating on Middle School. I then went back to get another degree in Special Education. I have been teaching in Milton since 2005. When I teach, I aim to inspire all students to be productive independent members of of the community and that students become life long learners. When I am not teaching, I enjoy playing with my three wonderful children, Rowan, Theo, and Lyra playing softball, hiking, and camping. |
