Growing up in France, I started college planning on being a French teacher. A Geology class my first semester quickly changed my plans. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Earlham College, I spent several years teaching in the great outdoors of the Shenandoah Valley. An interdisciplinary master’s degree in Geology and Education at UVM brought me to Vermont, where I met my wife Lisa. We are thrilled to have a new daughter, born June 20, 2008. In my free time I enjoy mountain biking, and skiing. Students are most likely to meet me in 9th grade physical science or in chemistry during their junior or senior year. |
