My teaching career began after graduating from UVM with a degree in Human Development in 1977 and working at the Lund Home Family Resource Center as a caregiver for 3-6 year olds. Returning to UVM in 1984, I earned a Masters in Education and taught at BFA Fairfax before coming to Milton in 1986 to teach 8th grade U.S. History. In 1992, I stepped into the high school to teach Psychology, Sociology, U.S. History, Canadian Studies, and Vermont History. As teams arose, I taught 9th Grade World History for several years. AP U.S. History and CEWA are my newest challenges.
