Middle School Exploratories

Milton Middle School has offers exploratories for students to learn other skills outside their core classes in sevent grade students take the following:

Art - Middle School Art is an exploration of all that is art!. We cover 2D studuies including, drawing, painting, and print making. 3D studies address subjects like mask making and pottery. With each lesson we try to include connections to important Art History topics such as famous artists, time periods and artistic styles.

Health - The purpose of Health class is to educate students on current health issues and healthydecision making.

In eigth grade student are afforded the opportunities to take:

Family and Consumer Sciences- The purpose of this class to to help students learn how to shop, prepare and plan healthy meals for themselves and others.

French - The goal of French Exploratory is to expose students to the French language and culture while teaching them how to learn a language and encouraging their language learning interest.

Spanish - Middle School Spanish is an opportunity to become acquainted with the language and various Spanish-speaking cultures of our world.
