(The Book Discussions take place during lunch on the first Thursday of the month in the Library Media Center, in the evening - 7pm - on the second Thursday of the month at the Milton Public Library, and at 2:45 pm in the Library Media Center on the third Thursday of the month.)

October: Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand
               Room by Emma Donaghue

Books about survival; two completely different types.

November: Wonderstruck by Brian Selznick

Selznick’s second book with just as many illustrations.  The movie for Hugo Cabret comes out in November.  All artists please attend.

December: The Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens

Come act out part of this classic.  It is probably the only upbeat Dickens novel.  
January: Borderline by Allan Stratton

Since 9/11 how do we feel about Islam and the people of the Middle East?

February:    The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
