Ian Kandzior – Ian’s effort and commitment to work really stand out. His attitude and level of maturity set the bar high for his peers.
Nicole LaBonte – I have had the pleasure of having Nicole in several art classes, and this year I have seen so much progress in her commitment to work, and her work reflects it.
Michael Outama – Mike has gone above and beyond this quarter. His willingness to participate (as a freshman) in our school-wide competition of Poetry Out Loud demonstrates his investment in his learning.
Carson Bianchi – Carson is a model student. He comes to class prepared and ready to work. He is very intelligent and always has something to offer to the class discussion. He is an absolute pleasure to have in class and a role model for his peers.
Danielle Ford – Danielle is a hard-working student who is always putting forth her best effort. She does a wonderful job of asking clarifying questions, and displays strong dedication towards her learning.
Sierra LaBlanc – Sierra has demonstrated a lot of personal and academic growth. Her performance for Poetry Out Loud was wonderful and courageous, and her participation and focus in class keep getting better and better. Sierra is finishing the year strong.
Kayleigh Reid, Cecelia VeStrand, Alicia Muir, Craig Pelsor – These four individuals have demonstrated commitment to a high standard throughout the course. They have done a wonderful job attending and participating in each class and have demonstrated grit and determination in tackling the large volume of material. It has been a privilege to instruct them.
Portia Smith – Portia has done a superb job in AP Biology. She asks strong questions and thinks creatively – continuously strengthening her understanding as the year has gone on.
Our students were asked to write brief synopsis of themselves, as people and as contributors to our school and learning community. This evidence was then posted, with student names removed, and classmates voted on the personality that they felt was most deserving of recognition and praise.
Melissa Morse – Melissa is a self-described “positive learner and person” who consistently works “to the best of (her) ability” and will always “helps others out when needed.” For these reasons and more, Melissa deserves appreciation and praise.
Dakota Sweet – Dakota wrote that he “always tries (his) hardest” and asserted “everybody deserves kindness and respect all the time and that’s what I give them.” It is for these reasons and more that Dakota is adored and appreciated by peers and teachers alike.
Luke Covey – Luke’s friends and classmates say he has “great energy,” and assert he actively works to make each and every day in the lives of his classmates and anyone around him more enjoyable with his sense of humor, positivity, and clever wit.
Rachel Lavallee – Rachel’s classmates call her “proactive, diligent and kind to everybody.” They also commend her fantastic original poetry, as well as her passion-filled dramatic readings of in class texts like “Oedipus Rex.” Rachel is the kind of student and person, say her classmates, that we all aspire to be more like.
Christine Perry – Christine’s classmates nominated her to be recognized as a fantastic student and person for the “creativity and energy” that she brings to the classroom and her “constant positivity.” Whether during a dramatic reading, performing her own poetry or puppeteering with socks, Christine helps spread joy – and learning – to others.
Katie Rayner – Katie has had a positive impact on peers both inside and outside of class. She is an excellent student, and her classmates choose to honor her as Student of the Month because she is hard working, kind, helpful and makes learning fun and enjoyable.
Logan Bean – Logan brings a fun, positive vibe to our class every day. His peers chose him as a Student of the Month because he is smart, funny, scholarly and an all-around great guy.
Abbey Snow – Abbey is one of the hardest working students I have ever known. She is truly excited about learning and has a tremendous amount of perseverance. She is one of the top students in her class and continues to be a role model.
Jenna Taylor – Jenna is one of the top students in her anatomy class. She brings a positive attitude and a readiness to learn to every class.
NOMINATED BY 10th Grade Mini Team
Liam Agan – We are commending Liam for the unsurpassed level of effort that he has put forth this entire year. He is fully committed to pushing himself to be his best. These efforts are paying off as this team is seeing great growth from Liam.
Jaden Groves – Jaden’s infectious positive attitude is a welcome addition to any class. Further, her wide-ranging academic interests bring a fresh perspective to class discussions and her own work. For these and many other reasons, it is with great pleasure that we nominate Jaden for Student of the Month.
Meghan Edwards – Meghan is a highly motivated student who cares deeply about her learning. She is constantly engaged during class and helps the students around her who struggle. For this in particular we are so grateful to Meghan. If all students were as caring and empathetic as Meghan, our jobs would be much easier. Keep up the good work!
Shea Leclair – Shea is an excellent student who takes her work seriously and strives to succeed. She did an excellent job on her National History Day project and on a recent paper for English class. Overall she asks great questions and is really engaged with her learning.
Liam Flynn – Liam is very conscientious about his learning. He works very hard and always to the best of his ability. He is willing to listen to suggestions and make changes in order to improve the quality of his work. He does a great job with time management and has been able to maintain a high quality of work while playing a sport this quarter.
Foster Rich – Foster is a freshman member of my personal fitness class, which is typically for some of the older students. He excels in class because of his attention to detail as far as the use of technology goes in class and is also driven by his goals in the right way. He doesn’t let external factors cloud his sight and pursuit of excellence. He is a very respectful and likeable person, and this really helps him to be a referent leader also in his Project Adventure group.
Jordan Chapman – Jordan is in my Lifetime/Team Sports class and is the epitome of going the extra mile. He had his goal emailed to me in an organized and detailed fashion before I even asked for it. He too excels with technology and its positive use. He is very goal oriented as well, as he is already thinking about next year’s plan. A tremendously courteous student, Jordan will succeed wherever he goes.
Katelyn Gingras – Katelyn is a pleasure to have in our PE class because of her effort she displays in all of the class activities. She values the time she is given to work on her personal fitness goal and is always on task and a willing participant in all activities. She also is in our Project Adventure class where she leaders by example.
