First, we were welcomed to the university. I am sure that a few of us were a little nervous because this was our first school visitation. The administration discussed the content of their curriculum and the nature of their programs. We also learned something about the nature of their student population. There was a series of speeches on our side and on their side.
Later, we all enjoyed small group discussions with English speaking students. (Yes, I did try to use my limited Japanese although to what success, I don't know or "wakarimasen"--it's a very useful phrase!)
