Japan Follow Through Project Components

Upon our return to America, all Japan FMF recipients are required to implement a six month follow through plan. This plan should address the students, the faculty, and the local community.  The following is a list of the components of my follow through project. I taught lessons on Japanese performing arts and culture to all 485 of my general music students. I created a power point presentation using photos I had taken in Japan. I showed this presentation to all twenty-three of my classes, to my Japan club, to our faculty, and to the public during my Japan night. Our local Japan America society has asked that I present this PowerPoint at their next Matsuri in the Spring of 2007. I also created this website. In addition, I started an after school student Japan Club. This club presented a Japan Night for the community.
