Math We will be working on place value and magnitude of numbers.	Literacy Reading groups: Practicing reading strategies. Computers: LibreOffice 3.3 (drawing & text), Raz kids, Starfall Writing: Publishing narratives Wordwork: working on weekly phonics skills

Literacy

Literacy Block begins at 9:15am and generally ends at 11:00am. It is an uninterrupted period of time in which students work on Literacy. Following is how the block is broken up:   We begin with a 20-30 minute whole group lesson. The children are then broken up into 4 stations. Each station is about 15 minutes long. The stations include: Reading Group LibreOffice 3.3 (word processing program) or Paint program or Literacy program Writing or word play Listening Center or Silent Reading
