Megan Smith is a Special Educator for the 5th and 6th grades.  She graduated from the University of Vermont (UVM) with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.  Megan taught preschool and Kindergarten at a private school for one year.  It was at that time, Megan realized her true calling and went back to school. While working full time for the Howard Center as a Behavior Interventionist, Megan earned an endorsement in Special Education from UVM and the Vermont Department of Education.  Megan taught special education in Richford, Vermont for five years.  During those five years, she earned a Master’s degree in Special Education from Johnson State College.  Megan is a hard worker and continuously finds ways to improve her teaching.  She is an advocate for the students she works with and looks forward to teaching in Milton.
