Melanie Savio graduated from Trinity College and is currently working towards her M.Ed.. Melanie is completing her 7th year at M.E.S., having served as a long term substitute in 3rd and 5th grade classrooms and Title One reading specialist as well as a Special Educator. She is a certified Responsive Classroom teacher and a Writing Fellow for National Writing Project in VT. Melanie resides in Essex and has 2 grown daughters, 2 cats and a dog. In her free time, Melanie enjoys reading, writing, gardening and yoga. She also enjoys the company of young children!
