I am a graduate of Castleton State College with a BS degree in education and from Johnson State College with an MA in curriculum development.   I moved to, and began teaching in, Milton, forty years ago.  I am presently teaching a 1-2 looping classroom. I love the excitement I feel when helping my six and seven year-old students learn to read, write and play around with numbers.  Their curiosity and attitude about learning is absolutely amazing.  It is my goal to make our classroom a happy, vibrant place in which to learn and explore the “new world” of school.  I encourage a positive attitude toward learning and respectful behavior, which allows each child to work toward ensuring that they reach their full potential.
