Try this sweet tip for spelling success
Here’s a sweet idea to help your child master the alphabet and the spelling of simple words: Put a fine layer of sugar on a dark-colored tray or plate. Have your child use her finger to write letters and words. Mistakes are easily swept away, and correct spelling is quickly rewarded with a lick of a finger.

Remembering everything is easier when you STOP
Many kids have trouble getting to school with everything they need. To make morning preparations easier, help your child make a visual reminder for the inside of your door: 1. Have him cut out a STOP sign. 2. He should list on the sign all the things he regularly needs to take to school (lunch, gym shoes, musical instruments, homework). On a day there are extras to remember, he can add a self-stick note to the sign.
