Look, Cover, Write and Check for spelling success

Here’s a tip that can help your child study spelling words: Divide a piece of paper into four columns, labeled Look, Cover, Write and Check. She should write a word in the Look column, saying the letters of the word. Fold the Look column over the Cover column so only Write and Check are visible. Have her write the word in the Write column, then uncover the Look column and write the word correctly in the check column.
