Laundry math is good clean fun
Doing laundry with your young child can help him sharpen his math skills while you complete a chore. Have your child sort the clean clothes. While he does, do some laundry math. Ask, “How many socks are there?” “How many pairs of socks?” “Are there more washcloths than towels?” Help your child keep a tally so he can compare totals from week to week. Did your family use more towels this week than last?
