School Safety We have a receptionist checking everyone coming into the elementary school as well as a Visitor Management system that requires anyone signing out children to present their driver's license. We in turn crosscheck a data bank to be sure that the individuals are not someone who might compromise the safety of our children or our school. Over the past four years we have had a School Resource Officer working with our children. We practice both "Clear the halls" exercises as well as monthly fire drills to keep the children alert to possible dangers. We are in the process of installing an electronic security system that will control who has access to our schools. All administrators now have the capability of being in contact  by radio with all necessary parties in the event of an emergency.
