Dear Milton Elementary & Middle School Parents and Guardians: Thank you for your warm and welcoming comments over the summer. We are thrilled to be here and will strive to develop and enhance learning skills and provide opportunities for the education and enrichment of all students. This will enable individual students to think and work independently and cooperatively toward the solution of problems, develop skills and cultivate inquiring minds. What we know for sure is this: we can do anything if we do it together. What we model as the adults in the lives of our youngsters is critical. Students notice. They might not admit it but they want us to support them together. One of the resounding gifts we can give our young people is a connection to self and others, the ability to know how to make healthy choices, an engaging and meaningful education with an affirmative, “Yes, you can absolutely accomplish whatever you think you can!” Our students receive the best education from us when we work as a team and are caring, kind, encouraging and respectful. We are confident that our combined enthusiasm, support and involvement will guide our students to do their best work and develop into their best selves. Together, we’ll create a sense of belonging for everyone in both buildings to achieve great things. Part of the wonder and beauty of a new school year is that everything is fresh--new books to read, new friends to meet, and new skills to master. As your principals this year, we look forward to sharing in the abundance of these gifts with you. In closing, we encourage you to fully embrace these treasured years. As you know, they go by fast. Please take time from your busy schedules to discover what students will be doing in grades PreK-8. Our efforts at creating a teaching and learning environment between home and school allow our youngsters to excel. If you have any questions, please contact any one of us at 893-3215, at the extensions below. Respectfully, Wendy Savery - Principal, Gredes Pre K - 2, Ext. 1335 Mary Jane Stinson - Principal, Grades 3-5, Ext. 1106
