Simple things make a difference
You don’t have to be a genius to make a difference in your child’s education. There are lots of simple, yet meaningful, ways to be involved. Put a note in your child’s lunch box, soften discipline with kindness and accept that your child may not turn out exactly as you expected. Celebrate special moments, and tell your child you love him every day.

There’s a time for everything—especially homework
When should your child do homework? It depends, say experts. Some kids like to start their homework right after school. The assignments and information are fresh in their minds. Others like to relax a bit or blow off some steam with exercise before tackling homework. Your child should do homework when she can concentrate best.
