Is your child safe at home alone?
Ideally, children should be supervised at all times. But it is also important to teach them what to do if they must be home alone. Stress that your child must never open the door to a stranger, and he should not tell an unknown caller on the phone that he is alone. Review safety procedures, such as who to call in an emergency.
