How long should my child stay out of school if they have a fever?
An elevated temperature is a way our immune system in our bodies helps us fight illnesses and disease. At Milton Town School District, our policy states that if a student has a fever of 100 degrees or more they are required to remain home from school until their temperature is less than 100 degrees for 24 hours without ibuprofen or acetaminophen.
If your child has a fever, please keep them home. It protects them and others from getting sick 🙂
