Pizza, ice cream, corn, bananas, soda. Are you hungry yet? There are all types of foods, but not all foods are healthy.
You and your partner are cooks at the Eaton Class Restaurant. You will take several healthy trips to Internet sites to become health food experts. You will then use your new knowledge to create a menu of either a breakfast, lunch or dinner. When you have finished your part of the menu, you will share it with the class.

Your task with your partner is to create a healthy menu for either breakfast, lunch or dinner. You will include how many servings and what food group each food belongs in. You will learn what a healthy meal looks like through research on the Internet. When you have finished your research you and your partner will then put your menu together. When you have completed the menu you will read it to the class.

You have been given a partner.
You will need to decide who will be the researcher and who will be the writer. Each day you will switch jobs.
You are ready to begin your healthy adventure. I will pick names out of a hat to decide what meal you will create, breakfast, lunch or dinner.

After you have collected all the information you need to create your healthy meal menu. Get cooking!

A fun extension to this WebQuest would be to create a healthy menu for your family for a week. Have your family get involved and eat HEALTHY!
