Mrs. Carpenter's Class Is Going On A Dinosaur Adventure

Introduction|Tasks|Questions|Resources|Assessment Conclusions|Definitions

Our class is going to publish a Dinosaur Newspaper. We are going to use the Internet and other sources to learn more about dinosaurs. You will be working with a partner.

With your partner you will pick a dinosaur and learn more about it. There will be a list of questions for you to answer about your dinosaur. You must also include at least one other fact that you have learned about your dinosaur.

After you gather your information, you will write a report that you will share with the class. Your report will become a part of our class newspaper that we will send home to your parents. You will also get to make a model of your dinosaur to put in the dinosaur village that we will build.

Need help writing your report?

When you are writing your report make sure that you include the answers to all of the questions as well as the other information that you found. All of this information needs to be put into complete sentences. You also need to have a title for your report and make sure that you put all of your team members names on it. Work together as a team to write your report. After it is written you should each look it over and talk about any changes. Make sure you check for spelling, capital letters and periods. When your group has done all of this on your own bring it to me for final editing. Then you may type it on the computer if you want, or have someone copy it in their very best writing.
