The Dolphin

There are 39 different kinds of dolphins.They live in all the oceans. A dolphin has a fipper on each side of its body. The tail of a dolphin is called a fluke.

Dolphins can swim up to 25 miles an hour. They jump and dive as if they were playing.

Dolphins are social and like other dolphins and people. They communicate with each other with a series of clicks and whistles. They are curious about people and often swim near boats.
