The Big Lineup Did not do all the work mentioned in level 3 and the work was not very close to the student's best.  Either did all of the work, but did not do it all to the best of their ability; OR did quality work on MOST of the requirements.  Answered the lineup questions, designed two categories, and determined how many possible car numbers there could be - all doing their best.
The Dead Heat Activity There is little evidence that either student played the game nor followed any directions.  There is clear evidence that the students played the game, but not all instructions were followed. There is clear evidence that the students played the game, and all instructions were followed.
Another Way to Number a Car A minimal attempt was made to design some alternate number labels, but little was accomplished or quality was poor.

Circus Maximus Did either very few of the tasks, or did most of these tasks poorly. Designed a line art chariot, designed at least three Roman Numeral - labeled chariots, worked with other students to coordinate numerals, and did their best quality art.
The student's work quality The student did not do all of the work, or did it all in a very careless, poor quality manner. The student either did most of the work well or did it all in a manner less than their best effort. The student did all of the required work to the best of his or her ability.
The student's performance was acceptable during the activity. The student did not always cooperate with teacher and peers, and the student did not put best effort forward. The student usually cooperated with teacher and peers, and the student did put best effort forward on the task.
