The Personnel Director

The jobs of the personnel director are:

1. decide upon the driver you will hire

2. determine what positions there are on a racing team

Click here to see how you will be assessed.

There are steps to approach your job:

1. research the 2002 records of each driver you can Link to How to Do It. If he did not drive in the Winston Cup in 2002, you might have to look at 2003.

2. use research data to narrow down your choices, based on their racing record, their personality, their appearance, etc. This is if you can find information. Driver photos will show their appearances. The rest might be harder to find.

3. present a comprehensive list of the final choices to the whole team for voting

4. research on what jobs [positions] a Winston Cup team has besides driver

5. write a list of these jobs; if time, you might look for a crew chief
