Recipe CookBook Project
Seafood
Your team
will create a seafood cookbook that will be used to teach people
about your ocean topic. The main focus of your project will be a
beautifully designed cookbook that offers a variety of food choices.
If you can't locate original recipes using cookbooks go on line or,
you will have to use your imagination to make some up. Throughout
your cookbook you should be educating the reader about seafood, such
as, What does the animal look like? What does the inside of the
animal look like? What does the animal eat? How do fishermen catch
the animal?
Your cookbook
will have two main sections. Each section will have the following,
recipes
with pictures
and
animal research with pictures. I
expect some of your illustrations to be simple and others more
complex with labels identifying the parts of the inside of the
animal.
In the end
your cookbook must include:
- A cover-
This should be made of heavy material like cardboard.
- A table
of contents- This is a complete list of the sections covered in
your cookbook.
- Two
recipes- For each type of seafood you researched.
- Research
information sections
Please
be certain to clean up after yourself each day and put materials back
where they belong. You will have to find a safe area to keep your big
book each day when you are not working on them.
