Your group will build three interconnecting Power Point stacks about your ocean topic. You must create an opening card together that leads to the other stacks. This may be done at the end.

Mrs. Scanlon and Mrs. Goodrich will teach you how to create a stack using Power Point. Stacks should be very visible. Use lots of color and art work!

You will have fun creating this project but be sure your planning work is done first. You should map out what will be done in your stack. You must show us your map before you begin working with Power Point. Even though you will be working on the computer alone you must stay in touch with your partners.

Requirements:

1. Each person should create at least one card in their stack.

2. Stacks may include the following:

-Text

-Canned Graphics

-Your own graphics

-Canned digitized sound

-Digitized images

-Your own digitized voice

Your group must discuss first what format the stacks will take. Will they be like an electronic magazine? A travel game? A journey through your ocean topic? There are many possibilities. Be sure to pick one style before you begin to plan your stacks. You may wish to view some Hypemedia on CD's before your start.
