Scuba Diving
This project will be a mixture of words and pictures, colored on two pieces of poster board. Each of the posters should clearly show several of the important ideas you wish to share about your ocean topic. One poster should completely display and label all of the gear and their functions of your ocean topic.
When creating your posters keep in mind the following:
Plan each
poster out carefully so that it clearly shows the ideas that you
researched.
You MUST draw a rough sketch of each poster on scrap paper first.
These sketches should be approved by an adult in the room.
You must sketch out in pencil your text (words) and pictures first.
Be sure to remember that all SPELLING counts and that small pictures
are difficult to color and also hard to see. MAKE YOUR DRAWINGS LARGE
ENOUGH TO SEE FROM 10 FEET AWAY.
Plan the placement of all drawings and words. If you do not do this
you may end up trying to squeeze some necessary letters in a corner
or between other pictures.
Each piece of work must be explained in some way. One possibility is
to have a group member act as a specialist explaining how to scuba
dive to people who are about to scuba dive for the first
time.
Please be certain to clean up after yourself each day and put materials back where they belong. You will have to find a safe area to keep your posters each day when you are not working on them.
