Behavior Management:

In order to provide your child with a classroom climate that he/she deserves, I am using the following discipline plan:

Students who follow the rules will be rewarded with centers time and positive reinforcement.

If a child breaks a rule:

First consequence: warning

Second consequence: loss of 5 minutes of centers time

Third consequence: loss of 10 minutes of centers time

Fourth consequence: loss of entire centers time

Continued disruption or severe disruption: Child will be sent to the planning room. (This is a room where a child can create a written plan that will allow the child to follow the rules and return to class. Parents are usually notified when a child takes a trip to the planning room.)

Homework Policy:

Homework folders or Friday Folders go home every Friday with the homework enclosed for the following week. Please see the parent letter for dates when homework is due . . . or return it early if that works best for your schedule.
